
Steven is an accomplished playwright and performer. His most recent work, “American Fiesta,” won The American Theater Critics Association 2006 Osborne Award for Best Play by an Emerging Playwright and was produced off-Broadway in Spring 2007
Eugene Sepulveda
Eugene is the CEO & a board member of the Entrepreneurs Foundation of Central Texas, a foundation by and for entrepreneurs which practices disruptive innovation in philanthropy, helps make nonprofits profitable, and promotes entrepreneurship. Eugene also serves as board president and CEO for Marfa Public Radio and West Texas Public Radio (Midland/Odessa).
After a career in banking and as an executive (CFO) at a semiconductor company, Eugene taught social entrepreneurship and international business at the University of Texas' McCombs School of Business. He additionally serves as vice president of the board for the KDK-Harman Foundation as well as on the advisory boards for the Greenlights for Nonprofit Success, the Sustainable Food Center, Austin Habitat for Humanity (Leadership Council), the McDonald Observatory (Board of Visitors) and the University of Texas' Center for International Business Research and Education. Eugene was a top, national fundraiser on President Obama's National Finance Committee and co-chair of the President's LGBT Leadership Council.
Alpha Kappa Psi named Eugene "Best Professor" and the MBA students nominated him for Outstanding Professor. The Human Rights Campaign recognized Eugene for Lifetime Achievement at their Austin dinner. He's been recognized by the Young Men's Business League (Austin Under 40), PeopleFund, the Austin Business Journal (Heavy Hitter in Finance) and the Austin Chronicle (Best Austin Booster). The Austin City Council declared a "Eugene Sepulveda Day" for his contributions in the fight against AIDS and HIV.
Steven and Eugene attend St James Episcopal Church, an inclusive multicultural community.
